About Us
Both Ivy Kargman and Theodora Ryan attended all-girls school prior to attending The Taft School. Upon entering a co-education institution they decided to bring their previous school's values of female empowerment and leadership and pair it with the rigorous and male-dominated financial world. This way, they were able to create a network of women who support each other towards the goal of becoming financially literate and striving towards becoming the female entrepreneurs that they write about in newsletters and invite to come speak. Since their sophomore year, the club has grown tremendously, and students continue to become inspired by the conversations and work being done by FEF. The diversity of Taft allows the club to be composed of different races, religions, and nationalities, facilitating them to delve into the intersectionality of their identities while learning alongside one another.
